Confessions from a Disregarded Pith

Confessions from a Disregarded Pith

Starved for intimacy

From those that count the most

Feelings of isolation

Overwhelms me as I host

A family dilemma

A family in need

A family inherits

A family accedes

We chase the ideal man

In the days as we pass

But we must face the real man

In the days that must last

We misconstrue when we fuel the self

The egregious pursuit of ego

A meandering road of dead ends

Perhaps it’s better if we let the “Me” go

Make no mistake

I am aware of this disconnect

Cycling through my thoughts

Understanding any remaining regret
