I’m not sure just where I am heading

But I am certain I know where I’ve been

Only takes two shakes of a lamb’s tail

To know where and when I begin

Mama told me yeah she told me

About Sunday school and sin

Sometimes it’s best to know how to lose

Before you think you know how to win

Can’t say I’ve always done the right thing

But I can say I know I have tried

Better to be honest and truthful

Then to lie when you confide

I don’t expect much from the world anymore

But I do expect more from me

I believe in self sacrifice

But I also believe in reciprocity

My mama used to say to me

But now I am on my own

And I will see what I will see

I believe in having a strong moral character

One to navigate the moral tide

Without such a compass

the soul is likely to hide

Never seen at such a degree 

Facilitated by an administration

That on the world stage would always take a knee

The word “democracy” never shows up in the constitution

A representative republic was designed to be adversarial 

Governance must be forged in debate and be reasonable

The socialist among us

Will always say

“we’re a threat to democracy”

If things don’t go their way

America still a great but troubled country

Has much more work to do

Expose the criminals and the deep state

Only we the people have control with also a thanks to the Patriots and Q

Follow the money

See where it goes

Fraud vitiates everything

The military tribunals will depose 

Presidential pardons won’t matter

Treason and crimes against humanity

You be the judge

When you put your faith in someone

you placed them in your trust

Do their words match their actions?

I suggest this should be a must

In your communications

I see what you say and what you do

I can read between the lines

Between little action and words that are so few

Some people may never know

The actual statements that have misled

They seldom stop to reflect

Upon the lies that they have fed

Time will tell us a story

We must not be quick to judge

How often have we been wrong?

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge

It’s very hard to live up to the standard

We ourselves have been in fault

To learn these lessons

Do not hide them away in a vault

Transparency is a prerequisite

For the ones we most care about

We must live by what we believe

Or we will always be in doubt

Go hand and hand

An emotional bond

That marks where we stand

Many people are tribal in nature

They affiliate over a shared ideal 

Easier to express yourself

Easier to tell how you feel

It goes without saying

The degree of the bond depends  on the quality of the trust

Consider the sentiment

“California or bust”

Loyalty has conditions

Dedication requires reciprocity

The division of labor

Must be split equally

Plant a seed

Watch it grow

The more care you give

What you reap is what you sow

Relationships  are no different

The investments we make

are nurtured with care

We must earn before we can take

Why do we lie?

Is it difficult to tell the truth?

How do we measure in adulthood?

How do we measure up in our youth?

It takes character and courage to be truthful

We must first solve the problem of self deception

Before we can enter a relationship

When we may battle the fear of rejection

in many cases

It will not be clear

The respect we may earn

Over the judgment that we fear

But this is not to say

we should blurt out everything we think

Sometimes we can acknowledge and elude the truth

Along with a wink

In any example there exists

The fail-safe of humanity

The power of forgiveness

The way to keep our sanity

I’m receptive to wonder

The Wonderment of our senses

I’m wonderstruck with what I see as beautiful

The beauty from within our own fences

Many are distracted

The essence of what true beauty really is?

To rely only on physical attraction

It’s like holding water with a sieve

How many times?

Will our ego’s deceive?

If we pay attention?

Will we revise what we believe?

To ask, what is beauty?

A question in philosophy

How many people can answer?

How many are left in ambiguity?

Some may learn  the hard way

Some may never learn

Some by example

Some will have to wait their turn

The knowledge we acquire

Cannot express the wonder we feel

It is only in how we live our lives

The wisdom of how we deal

if we look through a lens of falsehoods

How will the world appear to be?

Another fun house mirror?

Is that what we will see?

Distortion can come from dirty lenses

Distortion can come from unchecked ideology

How often do we clean the lens?

How often do we test our reality?

It must certainly be a gift

If we can clearly see

The wonder and beauty in life

Which means you develop the self: the body, the mind and the spirit

Then you face the world; an agency in the community

What will you bring to the table?

What will be your ingenuity?

For the body I must have discipline and dedication

For the spirit, I must have devotion

For the mind, I must have determination

And for society, I must have diplomacy

Five simple rules

Discipline, dedication, devotion, diplomacy and determination 

This pilgrimage I take

With reciprocity and association

the quest for knowledge

The quest for peace

Materialism never wins

As the body will one day cease

Time is our currency

In the ever presence of mind

We live only in the here and now

Forever, are we bound in time?

How we interpret and receive the message

Determines how we will navigate

One of the greatest skills we can master

In social etiquette is our speech

Lest we should never succumb to deceive

And this scripture I duly beseech

Honesty will always triumph

No matter how hurtful it may be

Trust and respect must be earned

But they never will when we deceive

To acquire moral character

If blessed with a loving upbringing

You benefit as a blessed inheritor

Fraudulence, forgery, fabrication, fake

Just how many lies in this life will we make?

The many ways we lie

Countless exchanges

How many of us?

Should make some changes?
